The Saga of a Peaceful Man is the debut solo release from London based MC Reps. Reps has been perfecting his skills for many years as a member of Brighton crew The Lost Souls and as an integral member of the UK/Polish super group Skillmega along with Dan Fresh and OSTR.
The album features beats from an international line up of top producers including OSTR as well as Biji Talls, L.A.’s Twiz The Beat Pro, DJ Sekta and The Lazy One. Reps has also drafted in some talented guests on the mic such as fellow Skillmega affiliates Dan Fresh, Witchdoctor Wise and Freecy D along with Zebra Traffic’s Rup and Nozeeny of Flash Fry Records. DJ Rod Dixon of Skillmega and DJ Haem provide the turntable wizardry.
With a sound that covers ground from traditional headnod hip-hop to state of the art club bangers to bubbling reggae and even a bit of country, and lyrics that touch on everything from the daily stress and strain of modern life to the simple joys of gardening, The Saga of a Peaceful Man is a polished and extremely impressive introduction to the world of Reps.
